How far along? 35 weeks on Sunday May 6, 2012
Weight gain/loss: +23.2
Size of baby: a large cantaloupe or coconut
Maternity clothes? a mix of maternity and non-maternity wear. not planning on buying/needing anything new with about 4 more weeks to go!
Stretch marks: none
Belly Button in or out? neutral
Sleep: it is rare that I go through a day without a 30-90 minute nap now.
Food cravings: my appetite has come back. been feeling pretty ravenous lately. guh.
Food aversions: a lot of things…but after they are already in my tummy
Pregnancy Signs: well the migraines are back…have had 2 in the past week…bad ones where I loose feeling in my hands and face. this has been good though. before I was pregnant I took prescription Imitrex to help with the spots and headache. I have realized that the meds do not do much but knock me out for the day. so post pregnancy I will be going without. the pregnancy has taught me I really do not need any meds for a lot of what I thought I did. also been feeling quite bloated…especially in the morning…nothing a swim does not fix. SOOO they say that hemorrhoids are pretty common after labor and delivery…BUT what happens if you have had them since week 25?! this is gonna be ugly. BUST.
Labor Signs: been getting what I think are Braxton Hicks contractions a few times a day. my whole tummy just gets really hard like baby P is flexing his entire body…perhaps he is…hmmm
Baby P Stats: kick test: average is 10 kicks/movements in 5 minutes
Movement: at our birth class they told us orange juice really gets a baby moving…I gave it a try and sure enough…about 5 minutes after drinking some orange juice baby P is ready to bust out of me
Gender: BOY
What I miss: bending over and getting up without moaning
What I am looking forward to: sonogram in a week!
Best moment this week: Katie and Matias at Whole Foods:
Matias: hey…that guy was hitting on you!
Katie: really?! I am the most unavailable looking person EVER…
Matias: I guess so
Katie: hmm OK…let me go win him over with my big belly…
Milestones: I have almost finished re-watching season 2 of Dawsons Creek (the BESTEST show ever created). maybe I get through all 6 seasons before baby P arrives?
Weekly Wisdom: After a hurricane comes a rainbow. Apparently this is true. Hurricane Irene came through our BIG DAY. 2 weeks later a little miracle was formed
Going the Distance: baby P has swam: 400.04 miles, biked: 1276.48 miles, walk/ran: 69.90 miles, and done: 48 hot yogs classes

Looks like he’s ready to bust out of there
he can’t wait to meet his Daddy
Ahh – the mixer is back in the pictures
At least he is not a durian fruit this week!
You look so fabulous little lady, so excited for you two! Sending good vibes to kick those migraines to the curb. XOXO
Of course someone was hitting on you! You look great. I love that swimming cures everything that ails you. Hope the migraines disappear completely. Looking forward to seeing you and Matias this week!
