37 weeks

How far along? 37 weeks on Sunday May 20, 2012
Weight gain/loss: +25.4
Size of baby: about 6lbs 10oz (according to our sonogram)
Maternity clothes? yes, and packing up my clothes I realized how much I miss them and hope that one day I will fit into them again…
Stretch marks: none that I have seen
Belly Button in or out? in the middle
Sleep: not doing going so well…during a move my head is racing thinking about and planning where I am going to put everything…I get a little overly excited about this…organizing is pretty much like Christmas…A place for everything and everything in its place! so yea thinking about the move on top of being 37 weeks pregnant sleep is not going so well
Food cravings: have I mentioned that we go to Big Bowl at least once a week?! HAHA
Food aversions: not a huge appetite lately
Pregnancy Signs: one thing I have not mentioned…a lot of my legs and a bit of my face have developed little freckles all over…apparently pregnancy can do that
Labor Signs: the braxton hicks contractions are becoming much more frequent…this has made walking a bit more difficult…I can go a mile maybe before feeling my tummy tighten up and I get really uncomfortable
Movement: it is starting to hurt a bit
Gender: BOY
What I miss: not being useless
What I am looking forward to: being able to walk up stairs without feeling like my heart is going to explode
Best moment this week: we had a 36 week sonogram last Friday…everything measuring good, although about 2 weeks small (they don’t like to see less than 3 weeks) and the amniotic fluid was borderline low…with this they wanted us to go in for another sonogram on Monday to retest. I was pretty anxious all weekend…unsure of anything I was doing. I tried to really up my water intake to say 3 liters and cut the hot yogs because low amniotic fluid could be a result of dehydration. To another doc on Monday…this sonogram seemed a lot fancier and higher resolution. Everything measured just right this time
Milestones: and I am down to ONE activity…SWIMMING…walking is just too uncomfortable and hot yoga is most likely too dehydrating. AND we have began the moving process. Matias and I decided after talking to friends and family that better to move pre-baby opposed to post-baby. So we are making a big push to get as situated as possible before baby P decides to arrive…hoping he can hold out until next week. Moving is exhausting…moving while 37 weeks pregnant is tremendously exhausting…I am SO sore…but it feels great! I have not been sore in a long time. oh and I am now full term!
Weekly Wisdom: pregnant people go through a lot of toilet paper…someone at the grocery store asked if we had been rolling houses…
Going the Distance: baby P has swam: 422.05 miles, biked: 1276.48 miles, walk/ran: 90.90 miles, and done: 51 hot yogs classes

Good job mama! Keep him cooking a while longer! Every week past 37 allows their lungs and brain to continue to grow.
So excited for you!
I am so excited for both of you! It will be amazing and you will enjoy every minute of it. Congrats again!
So excited for you Katie! Good luck with the move and hopefully baby P can hold out until you’re slightly settled. Well, at least not come in the middle of the move.
